TheGreenShot

For a platform that helps film and events reduce their impact, I am building an acquisition engine that no longer depends on luck.

Role
Marketing & strategy consultant
Period
Aug 2022 – present
Sector
CleanTech · sustainable film and events

Context

TheGreenShot offers several services (carbon reporting, crew scheduling, consulting, payroll) to an industry that does not always recognise itself in sustainability jargon. It had to be found by the right people, in France and abroad, on a reasonable budget.

Approach

  1. 01I set the positioning, audiences and channel mix in French and English, then launched paid and organic campaigns.
  2. 02In April 2026 I started a content machine (WordPress, three articles a day) and a prospecting file of 85 contacts across production agencies and groups.
  3. 03I produced what was missing: a white paper on the green transition of film, two carbon calculators, a case study, a plan of 24 LinkedIn posts.
  4. 04On the technical side I connected HubSpot and Mailchimp, then cleaned up the site’s SEO: 345 broken internal links brought down to zero.

One moment

At the end of July, right after the white papers went live, pages broke for visitors, but not for us, logged into the admin: everything looked fine. I found a truncated style cache and fixed it the same day. Since then I always check a site the way a visitor sees it.

Results

  • R111,300 organic clicks a month (September 2026)
  • R2Non-brand traffic ×29 in a year
  • R3330 articles published
  • R4Broken internal links: from 345 to 0
